In The Event Of Change
Change is persistent.
We do not advocate change when things are good.
Change is persistent.
We want to change the least when we need to change the most.
Change is persistent.
What we once saw we will not see again.

What can we do when change is inevitable with every breath and every heart beat?
Our decisions determine for the large part which path we will take. Do we change our decisions? If they do not work for us, yes, let's begin to.
We can pursue the path of least resistance like water, at least until evaporated.
The key is you have to be you in the event of all changes. That's a persistence you have to maintain as often as change is persistent with every moment of life.
That means you, with no past or no future but with now, the present moment at your call.
Do we respond to change by who we think we are or do we respond by who we think we should be. Response is inevitable.
How about neither. Be you through it all. Maybe who you think you should be shouldn't act at all. Maybe you in the moment just want to remain silent. So do it.
Who we are does not matter to change. In fact change doesn't even notice us but impacts us all the way.
So if change is persistent let's be persistent to change for the better.
Let's begin. You got a bad habit. Meditate 5 minutes before doing it. Go for a walk before you dwell on a past that won't change anymore or a future that's not there yet.
Don't escape change if you can't (note: we can't) but replace it one step at a time because that change we can do.
